Rates were increased on May 1

After the price reduction on June 1, now the commercial cylinder in Delhi has become Rs 2219 instead of 2354. Similarly, in Kolkata, instead of 2454, Rs 2322, in Mumbai Rs 2171.50 instead of 2306 and in Chennai Rs 2373 instead of 2507. The effect of this relief given by the companies can be seen on inflation in the coming times. Earlier on May 1, the price had increased by about Rs 100.

Subsidy of Rs.200 per cylinder

However, there has been no change in the price of domestic LPG by the companies. Earlier, to give relief to the public from inflation, the government had announced a subsidy of Rs 200 per cylinder under the Ujjwala scheme. This subsidy will be available only up to 12 cylinders annually. More than 9 crore consumers have benefited from this move of the government.

In May, the rates of domestic LPG cylinders were increased twice. The rate of domestic cylinder (LPG Cylinder Price) was increased by Rs 50 on 7 May. At the same time, on May 19, there was a change in the price of domestic LPG.
