Now all gas consumers will have to do e-KYC to get subsidy on LPG. Consumers who do not do e-KYC may stop getting subsidy. Instructions have been given to all gas agencies for this. It has also been said that e-KYC of all your consumers should be done.
On Monday, city-based Bharat Gas seller M/s Major Yogendra, while doing e-KYC at the gas agency, said that from November 25, the work of e-KYC of all consumers through biometrics has been started. The work of e-KYC will continue till December 15. More than half a dozen personnel have been deployed for this work, so that e-KYC of all domestic gas consumers can be completed through biometric system as soon as possible.
E-KYC will be done through biometrics-
Gas Agency Director Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal said that it is mandatory for all the domestic gas consumers who are receiving subsidy to come to the Gas Agency with a photocopy of their Aadhar Card and get their e-KYC done through biometrics.
He said that gas consumers who do not get e-KYC done will be deprived of subsidy. In this regard, biometric work is being done from 11 am to 5 pm. At present, KYC is being done in the agency itself. Later this work will start soon in the sub-agency also.
