Old Pension Scheme: Employees can soon get the benefits of the old pension scheme. For this a proposal will be sent to the government. Earlier, orders to give benefits have been issued by the High Court. Besides, information about the employees was also sought.
In fact, the employees who completed the recruitment process before November 1, 2005 in Nagpur Zilla Parishad can get the benefit of the old pension scheme. For this a proposal will be sent to the government.
The old pension scheme has been discontinued from 1 November 2005. Recently, whose recruitment process has been completed before the date of closure of the old pension scheme by the High Court. An important decision has been taken in favor of giving them the benefits of the old pension scheme.
Demand to implement old pension
After the High Court’s decision, now Castrike Zilla Parishad Employees Organization has demanded implementation of old pension to 36 Zilla Parishad employees. For this, the CEO has assured to take appropriate action as per the government’s letter. According to the information, the appointment orders of these employees have been issued on October 29. He joined the service in November.
Employees information sought
It was made clear by the High Court in its decision that the recruitment process of the employees entered into service after November 1, 2005 must have started before that. For this, they should be given the benefit of the old pension scheme within 6 weeks. The government should issue an order for this soon.
After the decision of the High Court, the Rural Development Department of the State Government had sought information from the CEO about the employees recruited before November 1, 2005. Which also included recruitment of constable clerks and other cadre employees.
Benefits of Old Pension Scheme
Preparations have also been made to send a proposal to the government for the Juni Pension Yojana. The memorandum has been handed over by the employees organization to CEO Saumya Sharma and Deputy Chief Minister Officer General Administration.
The CO has assured to take necessary action. It is believed that soon the employees can be given the benefit of the old pension scheme under the order of the High Court.
