Pensioners Pension Hike : Government’s big decision, increased the limit, now they will also get the benefit of pension, these rules will remain, notification issued

In the budget of the state government, an increase of Rs 250 per month was announced by CM Khattar in old age pension, widow pension and disabled pension, after which the pension has increased from Rs 2500 to Rs 2750. The benefit of the increased pension will be given to the beneficiaries of the state. Will start meeting from 1st April.

Pensioners Pension Hike: The Manohar Lal Khattar government of Haryana has given great relief to the elders of the state. The state government has increased the income limit for old age pension. After this, those earning Rs 3 lakh will also be entitled to old age pension. In this regard, the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment has issued a notification in this regard on Friday.

3 lakh income will also be entitled

• In fact, earlier the benefit of pension was given by the government only to the elderly with an annual income of Rs 2 lakh, but now after increasing the limit of Rs 1 lakh, the elderly with an annual income of up to Rs 3 lakh will also be entitled to pension. Presently 18 lakh elderly people are being given the benefit of pension. The special thing is that this income limit has been increased after about 11 years.
• Tell that Chief Minister Manohar Lal had announced in the budget to increase the income limit for pension from Rs 2 lakh per annum to Rs 3 lakh per annum, which has now been completed by the state government. In this regard, Vijendra Kumar, Principal Secretary, Department of Social Justice, Empowerment and Antyodaya, issued a notification on Friday.

Increase in pension, provision of 1300 crores in the budget

• Let us tell you that in the recently presented budget of the state government, CM Khattar had announced an increase of Rs 250 per month in old age pension, widow pension and disabled pension, after which the pension has increased from Rs 2500 to Rs 2750.
• The beneficiaries of the state will start getting the benefit of increased pension from April 1. A provision of Rs 1300 crore has been kept in the budget for pension.
• At present, more than 29.71 lakh beneficiaries are getting the benefit of social security pension including old age respect allowance, widow and disabled pension. After increasing the income limit, this number can be more than 35 lakhs.
