Locker holders of PNB can now make free visits to the locker only 12 times in a year and from the 13th visit each visit will be charged Rs 100. Earlier this limit was of 15 visits. 

PNB Charges Information: Punjab National Bank (PNB) customers should know about the charges levied on different services of this bank. This information has been given on PNB’s website and according to this, PNB customers in urban areas will have to keep a balance of at least 10 thousand rupees in their account.

Know the minimum balance limit and charges in bank accounts

The minimum limit of average balance in urban areas in PNB has been increased from Rs 5000 to Rs 10,000 on a quarterly basis. The charge which was earlier Rs 300 for not maintaining the minimum balance has also doubled to Rs 600.

Know the charges for non-maintenance of minimum balance in the account in villages For non-maintenance of minimum balance on

quarterly basis for rural and semi-urban accounts, the charge is Rs 400. PNB has retained the minimum balance limit of Rs 1000 for rural and semi-urban areas.

Locker Charges The changes that have taken place in locker charges have affected all types of lockers. The charge of small size locker was earlier 1000 rupees in rural areas, which has increased to 1250 rupees from 15 January. In urban or urban areas, this charge has increased to Rs 2000.

Also know the charge of medium size locker The charge of

medium size locker has increased from Rs 2 thousand to Rs 2,500 in rural areas and from Rs 3 thousand to Rs 3,500 in urban areas. The charge of big locker has increased from 2.5 thousand to 3 thousand in rural areas and 5 thousand to 5,500 rupees in urban. The charge for a very large locker is Rs 10,000 for both rural and urban, in which no change has been made.

Charges for Closing Current Account

In PNB, if it is closed more than 14 days after opening the current account and within one year, then its charge was earlier Rs 600, which has now increased to Rs 800 from January 15.
