On the occasion of Foundation Day, an important decision has been taken by the Chief Minister regarding the nutrition of the weaker section of the society.

One kilogram of gram dal will be available at the rate of Re 1Foundation Day will be celebrated in Jharkhand on 15th November. Before the Foundation Day, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has taken an important decision on the nutrition of people belonging to weaker sections.

Under this, one kilogram of chana dal will be provided to ration card holders at the rate of Re 1 per month. 65 lakh ration card holders of the state will get its benefit. This information has been given by State Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon. It is being told that this step is being taken to increase the level of nutrition.

It will be started from 15th November on the occasion of Jharkhand State Foundation Day. According to the Finance Minister, people covered under Jharkhand State Food Security Scheme will get the benefit of this scheme.

Its objective is to improve the nutritional level of the people. A provision of Rs 500 crore was made for this in the budget. Let us tell you that compared to other pulses, chana dal is quite cheap. In such a situation, its price in the market is Rs 80 to 90 per kg, whereas it will be made available to ration card holders at a very low amount.

UP: Ayushman cards will be made

Uttar Pradesh government has made a big announcement for ration card holders before Diwali. Migrants returning home on Diwali will be made Ayushman cards if they have the eligibility of 6 or more units in their ration card. Asha and Anganwadi workers will give this information in the camp. Kotedars will cooperate in the camp. After this decision taken by the Yogi government, instructions have been given to the officials.

According to the District Magistrate, instructions have been given to the Chief Medical Officer for Ayushman Card by running a special campaign on Diwali. Beneficiaries of the scheme will be informed through Anganwadi workers a day before the camp. Mic can also be used for campaigning in Gram Panchayat.

Maharashtra: Decision to give happiness ration for Rs 100 in Diwali

Crores of ration card holders of Maharashtra will get a big gift on Diwali. It has been decided to provide happiness ration to the poor for just ₹100 . Under this, ration has reached the ration shops of the district. Its distribution has also been started.

In the form of Khushi Ration, ration card holders are given 1 kg sugar, half kg semolina, gram dal, flour, poha along with cooking oil. Along with this, instructions have been given to the district officials. Arrangements have been made for smooth distribution of ration. A total of 1 crore 65 lakh 60 thousand 256 ration card holders of the state will get its benefit.

Haryana: Free grains will be distributed for three months 

Major preparations have been made by the Haryana government. Under this, the government will distribute free coarse grains from the month of November. Beneficiaries will be able to take advantage of this. The government has ensured its supply in the depot till 31st October. Its distribution will start from the month of November. However, to avail its benefits it is necessary to be a resident of Haryana state.

It is considered possible for poor families to get the benefit of free grains in 22 districts. Along with this, the Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department has decided to distribute four lakh 42 thousand quintals of millet in the district. In the months of November, December and January, 41 lakh 71314 BPL category people of the state will be provided coarse grains at the ration depot.

Markets are to be provided free of cost to BPL families for the next 3 months. Eligible families of Antyodaya Anna Yojana category will get the benefit of 17 kg of millet in 35 kg of grains. It is considered possible to distribute 18 kg of wheat. To other category beneficiaries, two and a half kilograms of millet and two and a half kilograms of wheat will be distributed per member.
