Three gas cylinders will be provided free of cost

Antyodaya ration card holders will get the benefit of cylinders. In fact, good news has come out for Antyodaya ration card holders in Uttarakhand. Like last financial year, this time also three gas cylinders will be provided to them free of cost.

Haldwani DM Dhiraj Gabriyal said that Antyodaya ration card holders will get the benefit of the first cylinder between April to July and the second cylinder between August and November in the financial year 2023, while the benefit of the third cylinder will be given between December and March. At the time of filling the same cylinder, the card holders will have to pay money. Later the money will be refunded to their account.

In the matter, District Supply Officer Manoj Kumar Duggal says that mapping of all Antyodaya ration card holders in the district has been done. Ration card holders will first have to deposit money in their gas agency and take the cylinder. Later the money will be refunded to them through DVT in their account. Along with this, if Antyodaya card holders do not get the cylinder refilled in 4 months, then the free quota of the consumer will automatically be terminated. Not only this, the District Supply Officer has clarified that the Antyodaya ration card holders do not have gas connection. They have to get the connection. Only after this they will get the benefit of the scheme.

Mobile app launch

Along with this, a lot of preparation has been done by the Government of India. Under this, a mobile app named “Mera Ration” has been launched by the government for ration card holders. Very few people know about this app. Through this app, ration card holders going from one city to another will now be able to take ration from anywhere. Through the “Mera Ration” app, crores of ration card holders will be able to get information related to their ration sitting at home on their phone.

Through this app, users will be given the facility to add and remove family members. Online application for ration can be made through the app. At the same time, ration can be distributed at their home, information about nearby ration shops will also be made available to them. “Mera Ration App” users can get information about ration shops located near them. With the help of this app, you can also get the details of your transactions for the last 6 months. With your help, you will also know how much ration you have received so far and when the ration distribution is going to start.

Tamil Nadu: Important message released

New preparations have been made by the Chennai government. Under this, an important message has been issued for Tamil Nadu Ration Card holders. A notification in this regard has also been issued by the Consumer Protection Department. Rice and pulses are being made available through fair price shops in Tamil Nadu under the notification. At the same time, through ration cards, the government will have Pongal and financial assistance is also being provided along with other welfare schemes.

On the other hand, the government is also taking steps to rectify the deletion of name in the ration family card, apply for family naming, change cellphone registration number, etc., according to the application for family card. Giving information to the media last week, Radhakrishnan, secretary of the government department, said that exemplary measures are being taken to provide toilet facilities in all ration card shops within one year.

Green Ration Card Scheme starts from 25th April

The Green Ration Card scheme has started from April 25 in Deoghar district of Jharkhand. Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajan Shri has personally distributed 155 kg rice packed in bags among the card holders by visiting the PDS shops. This scheme started in the district is being celebrated as Rice Distribution Day. At all PDS shops, card holders are being provided 5 kg rice packed in bags at the rate of ₹ 1. The allotment of November 2022 has been started at present. Because of this, rice is being made available to the card holders at the rate of per kg. On receipt of the allotment of January 2023, the food grains will be given to the ration card holders free of cost.

Inaugurating this scheme, the Deputy Commissioner said that distribution of packing grains would facilitate the card holders. In the past, complaints were received about PDS shopkeepers giving less food grains to the card holders. There will be no chance to complain with the new system. Arrangements have been made by the government to bring transparency in the same ration distribution.

This scheme was started in 2020 by the Central Government for the people living below the poverty line. The objective of the scheme was to provide food grains to the poor at the rate of 1 kg by bringing transparency in the ration distribution system. In January 2023, the central government has made the distribution of food grains free by amending this scheme. Now this scheme of 2020 has just started in Deoghar. Whose benefits will be given to lakhs of beneficiaries.
