According to the calendar released by RBI, banks will remain closed in the coming days due to Ram Navami, Durga Puja, Dussehra and other festivals. There are 8 holidays related to festivals on these days, while there are two Sunday holidays.

The holidays given in the RBI calendar may vary according to states and cities. During holidays, you can do your banking transaction related work through net banking. 1) October 21 (Saturday) – Durga Puja (Maha Saptami) – Bank holiday in Tripura, Assam, Manipur and Bengal.

2) 23 October (Monday) – Dussehra (Mahanavami) / Ayudha Puja / Durga Puja / Vijay Dashami – Bank closed in Tripura, Karnataka, Orissa, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Kanpur, Kerala, Jharkhand.

3) 24 October (Tuesday) – Dussehra (Vijayadashami) / Durga Puja – Bank holiday in all states except Andhra Pradesh, Manipur 4) 25 October (Wednesday) – Durga Puja

( Dassain) – Bank closed in Sikkim

5) 26 October (Thursday) – Durga Puja (Dassain) / Merger Day – Banks are closed in Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir.

6) 27 October (Friday) – Durga Puja (Dassain) – Bank holiday in Sikkim

7) 28 October (Saturday) – Lakshmi Puja – Bank holiday in Bengal

8) 31 October (Tuesday) – Birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel – Gujarat bank closed in

Apart from this, banks have a holiday on second Saturday on 14th October and fourth Saturday on 28th October. In the remaining days, banks will remain closed on 22nd October and 29th October as it is Sunday.
