Realme has launched several new devices in India today. The list includes the Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone, the Realme Buds Air 3 earbuds and the Realme Book Prime laptop. Apart from these products, the brand also launched the Realme 9 4G smartphone in India.
The company claims that the Realme 9 is one of the world’s first smartphones with the Samsung ISOCELL HM6 image sensor. The special thing is that the in-display fingerprint sensor found in the phone also works for heart rate detection.

Realme 9 4G Price-Availability in India
– As far as the price is concerned, the 6GB+128GB variant of the Realme 9 4G starts at Rs.17,999. However, it will be available in India at a starting price of Rs 15,999.
Apart from this, the price of 8GB + 128GB variant is Rs 18,999. However, it will be available in India at a starting price of Rs 16,999. The phone will be available in three color variants, including Sunburst Gold, Stargaze White and Meteor Black.
– Realme 9 4G first sale in India will start from 12 noon on April 12 via realme.com, Flipkart and retail stores. The company is offering special launch offers to potential buyers. Realme said that HDFC Bank customers will get an instant discount of Rs 2,000 on purchases made through their debit cards, credit cards and EMIs.
Basic Specifications of Realme 9 4G
– The phone flaunts a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with 90Hz screen refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, a screen resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. It comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor with Adreno 610 GPU.
The phone comes with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, 13GB Dynamic RAM (via Dynamic RAM Expansion Technology) and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage space. Realme 9 4G will be available in India in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB variants. It will run on Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12.
Talking about the camera, the Realme 9 4G will come with a 16MP selfie camera with Sony IMX471 sensor and 78-degree field of view. At the back, it will sport a triple rear camera setup housed in a vertically stacked camera setup.
This includes a 108MP primary sensor with Samsung ISOCELL HM6 with 80-degree field of view, a super-wide-angle lens with 119-degree field of view, and a 4cm macro lens.
Talking about the battery, the phone has a 5000mAh battery, which supports 33W quick charge technology. Additional features include Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band WiFi connectivity, GPS and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
