Here, Himachal Pradesh HRTC Conductor Union has called a state level meeting in Mandi under the chairmanship of Union State President Krishan Chand on 6th November, in which a strategy will be chalked out on pay discrepancy issue in consultation with HRTC operators. In the meeting held with the CM, the union had got assurance to remove the pay discrepancies before the election, but nothing has happened so far.

The union says that the officials of the State HRTC Conductor Union went to the Chief Minister several times regarding pay discrepancies, but only got assurances. The operator’s union had postponed the agitation on this demand after the assurance of the CM. In the new grade pay issued to the operators, 2400 to 1900 grade pay has been brought, due to which every operator is incurring financial loss of about ten to fifteen thousand in salary.
