RIL 46th AGM 2023: Reliance Jio announced the date of launching Jio Airfiber across the country in its AGM on Monday. Group Chairman Mukesh Ambani announced in the AGM (RIL 46th AGM 2023) that Jio AirFiber will be launched nationwide on Ganesh Chaturthi i.e. 19 September 2023. It will provide high speed internet to the customers. The company will launch Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) device – Jio Airfiber for retail customers with cheaper rates than the market rate.

Tremendous potential of Jio AirFiber
Mukesh Ambani said that today I am happy to announce that Jio AirFiber will be launched on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on 19th September, giving us another opportunity for customer value and revenue growth. Ambani said that through optical fibre, we can currently connect around 15,000 campuses per day. But with Jio AirFiber, we can supercharge this expansion to 150,000 connections per day.
Will get 5G network service
Jio Air Fiber will provide wireless broadband service to homes and offices using 5G network and state-of-the-art wireless technology. There is a possibility of huge upheaval in the telecom sector due to the arrival of Jio Air Fiber. The company is expecting to reach 200 million homes and premises through Jio Air Fiber. With the arrival of Jio Air Fiber, Jio will be able to add 1.5 lakh new customers every day.
Jio’s optical fiber is spread over 1.5 million kilometers
Reliance Jio said that Jio’s optical fiber infrastructure is spread over 1.5 million kilometers in the country. On an average, a customer on optical fiber uses more than 280 GB of data per month, which is 10 times more than Jio’s per capita mobile data consumption. Apart from this, in the 46th Annual General Meeting, the company also announced the launch of Jio True 5G Developer Platform and Jio True 5G Lab.
