Tecno earlier this week launched the Tecno Spark 8C handset in the Indian market. The Spark 8C is an entry-level handset and packs decent hardware for the price. 

The company claims that this is the first smartphone in its segment that comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone has a large HD + display and a dual rear camera setup. The phone is equipped with a UniSoC processor and 5000mAh battery.

• The company has launched a single variant of the Tecno Spark 8C smartphone, which comes with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage. The handset is priced at Rs 7499 and is being sold exclusively on Amazon.
• Amazon is also offering an exchange bonus of up to ₹7,100 on the phone. The amount of exchange bonus will depend on the condition and model of the old phone. That is, if the full bonus is available on the exchange of the old phone, then the price of the phone will be just ₹ 399.

Specs and Features of Tecno Spark 8C

•  The phone flaunts a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD display with 720×1612 pixels resolution and a waterdrop notch. This is a 90Hz refresh rate panel that supports 180Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, the Spark 8C sports an octa-core UniSoC T606 processor that comes with an integrated Mali G57 GPU.
• The system on the chip also brings with it 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The Spark 8C boots the company’s HiOS 7.6.
•  Spark 8C has dual rear camera setup and LED flash. It has a 13MP shooter with f/1.8 aperture and AI lens. For selfies and video calls, the phone has an 8-megapixel front shooter.
• The Spark 8C packs a 5,000mAh battery unit under the hood. The brand has not revealed the charging capabilities of the handset.
•  It offers DTS stereo sound and also has an IPX2 splash-resistant rating. The handset also offers 3GB of extended RAM feature, but it will come with an OTA update. That is, you will get 6GB of RAM in the phone.
•  For security, the Tecno Spark 8C sports a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The dimensions of the handset are 164.57×76×8.95mm. This magnet is available for purchase in Black, Iris Purple, Turquoise Cyan and Diamond Gray color options.
