The country’s top state-run bank SBI had launched the OTP based cash withdrawal facility in January last year. If you want to withdraw money from SBI ATM, then you have to enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number. This will help protect you from fraud.
This is the complete process to withdraw money from ATM through OTP-
When you visit SBI ATM to withdraw money, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Customers can withdraw money from ATM by entering this OTP. OTP will be a four digit number from which a transaction can be done once. This facility will protect SBI cardholders from unauthorized cash withdrawals.
Will be applicable on withdrawal of more than 10 thousand rupees
This facility is for withdrawal of more than Rs 10,000 from SBI ATMs. This is expected to protect against unauthorized cash transactions from ATMs. SBI has taken this step in this direction to protect its customers from any kind of fraud.

Along with this, the country’s largest government bank has asked customers to link their PAN with Aadhaar to continue banking services without any hassle.
