SBI recruitment 2022: State Bank of India (SBI) has invited applications for the recruitment of “Specialist Cadre Officers” for the posts of Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Deputy Chief Technology Officer (e-Channel), Deputy Chief Technology Officer (Core Banking) Applications are invited.
The last date to apply and apply online for the posts that were opened on March 4, 2022 is March 31, 2022. Interested candidates are requested to apply online through the link given on the Bank’s website.
Selection Process for Four Posts:
The bank said, “Selection will be based on shortlisting and interview. For shortlisting, “mere fulfillment of minimum qualification and experience will not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
The Shortlisting Committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and after that, sufficient number of candidates will be shortlisted for interview. The decision of the Bank to call the candidates for interview will be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.”
how will the interview be
- The interview will be of 100 marks. The qualifying marks in the interview will be decided by the Bank. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard
- Merit List: Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of marks obtained in interview only.
The bank said that if more than one candidate secures the cut-off marks, then such candidates will be ranked in the merit list, in descending order of their age.

The maximum age limit should be 55 years as on 1st January 2022 for the posts of Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer. For the posts of Deputy Chief Technology Officer (E-Channel), Deputy Chief Technology Officer (Core Banking), the maximum age limit should be 45 years as on 1st January 2022.
