Even before this, the customers are being made aware from time to time by the bank. Now by issuing two phone numbers on behalf of the bank, it has been asked not to receive calls.

Fraud by telling bank employees

There is a possibility of fraud from these two numbers on behalf of SBI and you may suffer loss. These days the incidents of fraud are increasing rapidly. Keeping this in mind, this warning has been given by the bank to protect the customers from any phishing scam.

It was told by the bank that in many cases, information about phishing scams has come to the fore through tweets, SMS and e-mails. On calling, these people do fraud with the customer by pretending to be an SBI employee.

Note these two numbers

The two numbers from which the State Bank of India (SBI) has been told about not receiving the phone are 8294710946 and 7362951973. It has been said from the bank that if the call comes from these two numbers, then do not make the mistake of receiving.

CID Assam expressed objection

Earlier, CID Assam had objected to both the numbers mentioned by SBI. CID Assam had tweeted and said, State Bank customers are getting calls from two numbers 8294710946 and 7362951973. The caller from these numbers asks the customer for KYC and to click on the link sent on the mobile.

Both numbers not linked to the bank

The bank said that both these numbers are not connected in any way with the State Bank of India (SBI). This has been written while re-tweeting the Assam CID on behalf of SBI. Responding to a customer’s tweet, State Bank said that IT Security will take immediate action against both these numbers.
