The state government has released an amount of Rs 1801 crore for the outstanding 3 months salary and pension from August to October for the teachers and employees of the university. In this regard, the Additional Chief Secretary has sent a letter to the Accountant General. About 28000 teachers and non-teaching staff will get the benefit of this.

According to media reports, the Bihar government has sanctioned Rs 1801 crore to 28000 teachers and employees of the state universities for 3 months salary, arrears allowances and pension from August to October. In this regard, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department has written a letter to the Accountant General. 39000 lakh has been released.

Under the released amount of 1801 crores, 128 crores 13 lakhs to Patna University, TMBU 202 crores 73 lakhs, LNMU 267 crores 56 lakhs, Magadh University 272 crores 44 lakhs, BRA Bihar University 279 crores 23 lakhs, JP University 80 crores 46 Lakh, KSDS 45 crore 54 lakh, Patliputra University 168 crore 36 lakh, Purnea University 41 crore 65 lakh, Veer Kunwar Singh University 141 crore 67 lakh, BN Mandal University 131 crore 39 lakh, Munger University 42 crore 22 lakh.
