Taking this decision, the Rajasthan government has taken a big decision. Toll in Rajasthan is collected from commercial vehicles only. But as soon as Ashok Gehlot’s government came, toll tax started again.

Toll Tax: Toll will be collected from commercial vehicles only on the 101 km long route from Raisen town via Rahatgarh Sagar via Garatganj-Begumganj. MPRDC has prepared and issued tenders. MPRDC DM MH Rizvi said that earlier it was decided to collect toll from all four wheels. Now only commercial on the instructions of the government

Vehicles will have to pay toll tax

In the cabinet meeting held last month, it was decided to exempt private vehicles including cars, jeeps and passenger buses from toll tax on this route. After this, the tender process is being completed afresh. It is being told that after the completion of the tender process by next month, all three toll blocks of the route will start.

It is worth mentioning that MPRDC had done asphalt work on that road three months back. It has been decided to levy toll to recover the amount. They will not have to pay toll tax. At the same time, let us tell you that some departments have also been created by the government.

The people involved do not have to pay toll tax. Earlier this category included 9 people, now it has been increased to 25. This includes vehicles ranging from government employees to corpses, which do not have to pay toll tax.

All vehicles of Government of India and Government of Madhya Pradesh which are on duty on 17 roads of the state, non-commercial vehicles of former and present members of Parliament and Legislative Assembly, All vehicles of Indian Army, Ambulances, Fire Brigade,

Indian Department of Post and Telegraph vehicles, tractor trolleys, autorickshaws, two wheelers, bullock carts, freedom fighters and recognized journalists and additional passenger vehicles such as buses, cars, jeeps etc. are exempted from toll. Tax is not collected from these 25 departments.

President, Vice President, Prime Minister, Minister, MP Minister, Judge-Magistrate, Senior Officer, Defense Police, Fire, War, Patient Vehicle, Hearing, Magistrate Secretary, Officers of various Ministries,

Secretaries of various departments, elected state and central government officials, officials of the National Highways Authority of India, besides those who have been given concessions by the state governments, can also participate.
