PNB Bank announced

Recently Punjab National Bank (PNB) has announced that its customers can register for Unified Payments Interface (UPI) using Aadhaar-based One-Time Password (OTP) authentication. Earlier, for creating UPI, customers had to mandatorily use a valid debit card number for OTP authentication to set a PIN while registering. This process was restricted to many bank account holders, but now those who do not have a debit card. That too can be used.
