Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat route: Good news for railway passengers…Indian Railways has increased the service of the second Vande Bharat Express train of Uttar Pradesh. The Railway Board has approved the extension of this semi-highspeed train which currently runs between Lucknow and Gorakhpur Junction railway station. This is also the 25th new age train of the country. It is operated and maintained by the North Eastern Railway (NER) zone.

Distance of Prayagraj-Gorakhpur Junction-Prayagraj Vande Bharat Express
Prayagraj-Gorakhpur Junction-Prayagraj Vande Bharat Express will cover the distance of 355 km in seven hours 25 minutes. This will be the fastest train on this route after LTT-GKP Superfast Express and Chaurichaura Express. Both trains cover the same distance at 07:30 and 09:05 respectively.
How many coaches are
Train No. 22549/22550 Gorakhpur-Prayagraj-Gorakhpur Vande Bharat Express will run six days a week except Saturday. The train is made up of eight coaches – AC Chair Car and Executive Chair Car. Its capacity will be 530 passengers.

The second Vande Bharat Express of Uttar Pradesh will promote tourism as well as economic development of the region.
