Vande Bharat Facility: Till now passengers are being given the facility of eight such trains, but soon passengers will also get the facility of sleeper coach in Vande Bharat.
Vande Bharat Express Sleeper Coach Facility: The scope of Vande Bharat Express trains in the country has been increasing rapidly. Vande Bharat is one of the fastest running trains in the country. These semi-high speed trains are now connecting important centers of the country. Vande Bharat Express, a semi-high-speed train of Indian Railways , has become a center of attraction among rail passengers. Till now the passengers are being given the facility of eight such trains, but soon the passengers will also start getting the facility of sleeper coaches in Vande Bharat. Because the sleeper version of Vande Bharat train will be designed to travel at a speed of 220 kmph. After which the passenger can enjoy the journey in the sleeper version train of Vande Bharat.
Officials say that now the sleeper version of the Vande Bharat train will be designed to travel at a speed of 220 kmph, although these aluminum-made sleeper version trains will run at a speed of 200 kmph on the tracks. He said the chair car Vande Bharat Express trains would be replaced by Shatabdi Express in a phased manner, while the sleeper version would be an alternative to Rajdhani Express trains.
400 Vande Bharat trains in two phases
- Officials said that in the first phase, the Railways has issued a release for 400 Vande Bharat trains and the work will be approved by the end of this month.
- Four major domestic and foreign companies have come forward to make the Vande Bharat sleeper version train.
- As per the plan, the first 200 Vande Bharat trains will have Shatabdi Express-style seating arrangements and will be designed to travel at a speed of 180 kmph.
- Their speed will be restricted to 130 kmph in view of the inadequate safety and security of the railway track. These trains will be made of steel.
Know at what speed the train will run
In the second phase, 200 Vande Bharat trains will be sleeper and will be made of aluminium. It will run at a maximum speed of 200 kmph. An official said that for this, tracks of Delhi-Mumbai, Delhi-Kolkata railways are being repaired, signal systems, bridges are being fixed and fencing work is going on. Which will be completed soon.
Apart from this, anti-collision technical armor is being installed on both the railway routes at a cost of Rs 1800 crore. Due to which accidents will be less. In the next two years, ICF in Chennai in Tamil Nadu, Latur Rail Factory in Maharashtra and 400 trains will be produced in Sonipat, Haryana.
