New Delhi: In a bid to reduce the spread of misinformation about the novel coronavirus pandemic, instant messaging application WhatsApp has reportedly limited frequently forwarded messages to one message at a time.

Recently, the instant messaging app has also announced the WhatsApp Coronavirus Information Hub. Besides, it is also working with NGOs and governments, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and over 20 national health ministries, to help connect people with accurate information.
