Central employees are constantly demanding
Let us tell you that the central employees are continuously demanding to be given to the withheld DA from January 2020 to June 2021. In such a situation, the government employees expected that the government would consider giving DA arrears and would find a solution soon.
According to Shiv Gopal Mishra, Secretary (Staff Side) of the National Council of JCM, the council has placed a demand from the government but no solution has been found so far. According to media reports, the matter has been discussed with the Cabinet Secretary.
Decision can be taken in cabinet meeting
According to Mishra, a joint meeting of JCM with officials of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) and the Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure is to be held soon.
According to the news, a decision can be taken soon in this regard in the Central Cabinet meeting. Normally DA is increased twice a year.
This time the DA hike to be held in January has not been announced yet. Let us tell you that earlier in October last year, the Central Government had increased the DA from 17 per cent to 31 per cent.
It is being said that for January 2022, DA can be increased by 3 percent. This will increase the DA to 34 per cent.

It is believed that if a decision is taken to clear 18 months arrears in the coming meeting, then Level-1 employees will get Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. Similarly, Level-13 employees can get Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200 at a time.
