7th Pay Commission Latest News: Apart from DA, the central government also gives many benefits to the central employees. Decision on DA arrears stuck for 18 months can also be taken soon.

7th Pay Commission : Dearness Allowance of central employees has been increased to 31 percent. It has been implemented from 1st July. This means that the government will also give 4 months’ Dearness Allowance Arrear to its employees.

However, the decision of the Dearness Allowance Arrear, which has been pending for 18 months, has not been decided yet. It is expected that a decision can also be taken on the DA arrears of central employees in the month of December before Christmas and New Year.

Let us inform that under the 7th Pay Commission, the central government has given many big benefits to the central employees in addition to 31 percent DA. However, the case of DA arrears is pending for 18 months. Shiv Gopal Mishra,

Secretary (Staff Side) of the National Council of Joint Consultative Machinery (JCM), said that the council has made a demand in front of the government that while restoring DA, one time settlement of DA arrears pending for 18 months should also be done.

It is expected that in the month of December, the matter of DA arrears can be discussed with the Cabinet Secretary.

One time payment of DA arrears!

It is worth mentioning that there will be a meeting of Joint Consultative Machinery (JCM) with the officials of Ministry of Finance, Department of Personnel & Training and Department of Expenditure.

In this, there is a possibility of discussion of lump sum payment of DA arrears. However, some time ago the pensioners had demanded the intervention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this matter. Then the government had assured to consider it.

How much will you get DA arrears?

According to Shiv Gopal Mishra, Secretary, National Council of Joint Consultative Machinery (JCM), the DA arrears of Level-1 employees will be between Rs 11,880 and Rs 37 thousand.

At the same time, Level-13 employees will get Rs 1 lakh 44 thousand 200 to Rs 2 lakh 18 thousand 200 as DA arrears. In the monsoon session of Parliament, the Central Government made it clear that Dearness Allowance (DA) is being restored.
