According to the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission, the salary of the central employees is decided by their basic salary and fitment factor in addition to the allowances. Dearness allowance can be 34 percent

, according to the possibilities being expressed, there may be an increase in the dearness allowance given to the employees by the central government. However, it is difficult to say how much it will increase and when it will be announced. But it is believed that dearness allowance may increase from 31 percent to 34 percent.

Apart from this, the fitment factor is also expected to be decided in the Budget 2022 as well. After getting approval from the cabinet, it will be included in the budget expenditure.

Such increase in minimum basic salary 

If we look at the calculation on the minimum basic salary, then the minimum basic salary of a central employee is Rs 18,000. So far, according to 31 percent, they get dearness allowance of Rs 5580 per month. This will increase to Rs.6120 per month after DA is 34 per cent; That is, it will increase by Rs 540 per month. If we look at the salary on an annual basis, then there will be an increase of Rs 6,480 in it.

The maximum basic benefit much salary 

to a maximum basic salary in the Rs 56,900 for central government employees. At present, according to 31 percent, they are given DA of Rs 17,639 per month. In such a situation, if we calculate DA on the basis of 34 percent, then it will become Rs 19,346 per month i.e. there will be an increase of Rs 1707. Accordingly, the salary of these employees will increase by Rs 20,484 on an annual basis.
