Amit Shah Announcement on Farmers: Amil Shah has said that apart from the support price (MSP), the export body will share at least 50 percent profit with the member farmers. After launching the logo, website and brochure of the cooperative export body, the Union Home Minister said, ‘NCEL, which was established on January 25, is now negotiating orders worth Rs 15,000 crore.’

Cooperative Minister Amit Shah said that the newly established National Cooperative for Exports Limited (NCEL) has so far received orders worth Rs 7,000 crore. The big thing here is that apart from MSP, farmers will get half the benefit of export.

He said that NCEL will help cooperatives to tap the global export market and produce products that comply with international standards. Let us tell you that there are about 8 lakh cooperative societies in the country which have more than 29 crore members.

What did Amit Shah say on MSP?

The Union Minister said that NCEL will purchase the exported commodities from farmers who are members of cooperative societies at the Minimum Support Price (MSP). He said that NCEL earns at least 50 percent of the total profit and it will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of member farmers. Shah said that this benefit will be different from MSP.
