Leaving aside other methods, at present the process of extorting money by posing as bank employees is still going on. Keep yourself safe by keeping these things in mind –

Axis Bank employees never ask KYC details, OTP, debit card PIN or CVV from their customers on call, hence do not share your KYC details like PAN details or date of birth

with anyone on call. Check who the calls are coming from. Cross-check that this is indeed the customer service number of the bank.

Don’t rely solely on your caller ID
