Let us tell you that DBS Bank India Limited (DBIL) and Lakshmi Vilas Bank (LVB) have changed the old IFSC Code. From today i.e. from February 28, the old IFSC Code will not work.
Banks have been merged
DBS Bank India Limited (DBIL) has been merged with Lakshmi Vilas Bank (LVB), after which all customers will have to take a new checkbook in exchange for their old checkbook, only then you can use the check payment option will do.
Let us tell you that the new codes became active from October 25,
the old codes of the bank have come into force from October 25, 2021, but the bank had told that after February 28, no customer will be able to use the old IFSC Code. Apart from this, changes have also been made in the MICR Code.
The bank has given information by sending a message
, while giving information to the customers, it has been told that from March 1, 2022, if you do IMPS, NEFT or RTGS to transfer money, then you will have to use the new IFSC code. DBIL has given information about this to the bank customers by sending letters along with messages and emails.
Get a new check book soon
The bank has asked all the customers to take a new check book as soon as possible, so that they can do the transaction easily. It is advised to share the new IFSC code of the bank only with the people. It is worth noting that the bank is issuing new checkbooks with new MICR code from 1st November 2021.

new IFSC code and MICR code, you have to click on the website https://www.lvbank.com/view-new-ifsc-details.aspx. Here you select your state and city. After this you will get complete information about IFSC Code and MICR Code of your bank branch. Lakshmi Vilas Bank was merged with DBS Bank on November 27 of the year 2020.
