Only a few days are left for the month of November to end. After three days, December i.e. the last month of the year is going to start. Keeping this in view, like every month, the Reserve Bank of India has released its holiday list for the holidays occurring in this month also.

Banks will remain closed for 18 days in December

According to the list released by the Reserve Bank of India, there will be 18 days of official holidays in December including Saturday and Sunday. Apart from this, AIEBA (All India Bank Employees Association) has also announced a strike of 6 days in December.

AIEBA will go on strike on different dates at the beginning of the month from 4th December to 20th January. In such a situation, if you are planning to get any bank related work done in December, check the list of bank holidays here.

  • 23rd December Fourth Saturday of the month.
  • 24th December weekly holiday
  • 25 December ‘Christmas Day’ (banks closed across the country)
  • 26 December ‘Christmas Day Celebrations’ (banks closed in Mizoram, Nagaland and Meghalaya)
  • 27 December ‘Christmas Day’ (banks closed in Nagaland)
  • 28 December in Meghalaya due to U Kiang Nangbah Bank closed.
