50% increase in honorarium

New preparations have been made by the Maharashtra government. Due to which thousands of employees will get huge benefit. Under this, the Finance Department has approved the increment in the salary of the Kotwal of the state. With this, their salary will increase from Rs.7500 to Rs.15000. Revenue Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil said that the honorarium of Kotwal would be doubled from Rs.7500 to Rs.15000.

Deputy Chief Minister had announced

In fact, during the budget session on March 9, Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced regarding the salary hike of Kotwal. On the other hand, with the presentation of the state budget on March 17, according to the announcement, the cabinet had approved the proposal to increase the salary of Kotwal. On which even the department has given its consent.

Will be applicable from 1 April 2023

It has been decided to implement from 1 April 2023. At the same time, 12793 Kotwals of the state will be provided Rs 15000 per month as salary. Before this, at present the remuneration of Rs 7500 is being made available to the Kotwal. After which the amount of honorarium has been increased by 50 percent.
