On the one hand, on 28 and 29 March i.e. on Monday and Tuesday, the trade unions have called for a Bharat Bandh against the various policies of the Central Government.

On the other hand, the West Bengal Government has issued a decree that The presence of government employees in the office will be mandatory on both these days, otherwise action will be taken.

Taking a strict stand, the Mamata Banerjee government of West Bengal has asked all its government employees to join duty during the 48-hour nationwide strike on March 28 and 29.

It has also been said that if this is not done, they will be issued show cause notice. Will go All state government offices will remain open and all employees will be on duty on those days.

It is clearly stated in the directory that if any government employee has applied for leave after March 25, then it will not be accepted.

Half-day leave will also not be admissible, however, the leave of those who are already taken leave, sick, admitted in hospitals or employees who have passed away at their home will continue and be sanctioned.

Similarly, if any government employee does not come to the office on these two days, then a show cause notice will be issued against him and if he is not satisfied with his answer, then departmental disciplinary action will also be taken against him.
