CBSE Board Exam 2024: There is big and good news for the students preparing for CBSE and other board exams, the Ministry of Education said today that now board exams will be held twice a year, not once. The central government on Wednesday announced major changes in the education system under the New Education Policy (NEP) and said that textbooks will be developed for the academic session 2024, the Ministry of Education has released the new curriculum framework i.e. National Curriculum Framework (NCF). ) was also announced, Board exams will be held twice a year under the new curriculum structure, Not only this, students will be allowed to retain the best marks, Students will get the freedom to choose the subject of their choice in class 11th and 12th. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan took a joint meeting

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today addressed the first joint workshop of the National Curriculum Framework Oversight Committee and the National Syllabus and Teaching-Learning Material Committee. He tweeted that – Today the world has expectations from India. Fulfilling our global responsibility, we have to build a technology-driven education system that meets the expectations of the world along with India. Under NEP, the work of making rooted and futuristic reading materials and textbooks from class 3 to class 12 is going on based on the requirements of the 21st century and the basic ideas of India. This is a humble effort towards providing new textbooks to all classes by the next academic year.

The new education pattern announced today will be applicable from the academic session 2024.
The changes announced today by the Ministry of Education under the education system i.e. the new Curriculum Framework announced as per the National Education Policy has been prepared and accordingly the books (syllabus) will be prepared for the academic session 2024. The announcement regarding board examinations will be effective in the year 2024-25.

No restriction to choose stream, can choose any subject

Under the major changes announced today by the Ministry of Education, the compulsion of students of class 11 and class 12 to choose stream i.e. Arts, Commerce, Science has been removed, which means that now students will be able to choose the subjects of their choice in these classes. In class 11 and class 12, two language subjects (language) will have to be chosen, out of which one should be an Indian language. It is worth mentioning that in the current education system, students have to choose one of the arts, science, commerce, vocational courses etc. in the syllabus of all the boards.




In the first year the exam was held only once, now it will be held twice.

The education ministry said the board exams will assess the level of understanding and proficiency of students against months of coaching and rote learning. Apart from this, the selection of subjects during the 11th and 12th class will no longer be limited, so that the students will get the facility to make their choice, let us tell you that earlier the board exams in India were held once a year, but now the central government has started a new education system. Under the policy, a big change has been made in this, after this change, now CBSE board exams will be 2 in a year. The ministry has asked the boards to develop the capability to conduct on-demand examinations.
