Let us tell you that in July 2023, State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan had announced a 4% increase in dearness allowance to the state employees after the four percent increase in dearness allowance by the central government. Due to this announcement, benefits were to be given to all employees from January 2023. With this, the government had divided the benefit of arrears from January to June in three equal installments.
How much will the salary increase?
About 7.5 lakh employees of the state will benefit from this announcement and their DA will increase from 42% to 46%. With this, the salary of employees serving in the state service will increase from Rs 620 to Rs 5640. Although it is not yet decided when the government will release it, but a decision in this regard is expected to be taken soon after the completion of the election process.
