Many times passengers keep asking questions on Twitter and other social media sites regarding the rules of Delhi Metro. Recently, a young man asked such a question, to which DMRC itself has given the answer. Actually, a young man named Golu Kumar tweeted and asked the question whether 90-year-olds can sit on the ladies seat? Along with this, Golu tagged the accounts of DMRC and Transport Delhi.

Responding to the question, DMRC said that four seats in each coach are reserved for women and some seats are also reserved for senior citizens/disabled persons. Appropriate signs are displayed in this regard. Apart from this, announcements are also made for awareness.

Can a woman travel with a child in a reserved coach?

The first coach in the metro train has been reserved for women. Men are not allowed to travel in this. In such a situation, the question arises in the minds of people that if the woman has a child, can she take him to that reserved coach and if yes, then what should be her maximum age.
