According to media reports, the Railway Board has issued new instructions for the promotion of employees (Railway Board Employees Exam 2022).

PRO of Jhansi Railway Division, Manoj Kumar Singh said that the Railway Board has issued new instructions regarding the promotion examination, and now the examination will be conducted under it.

Employees will have to give two examinations. Under this, only those who have secured 75 percent marks in the first examination will get a chance to appear in the main examination.

According to media reports, Public Relations Officer Manoj Kumar Singh told that the examinations will be conducted according to the new rule. In this, the list will be published after selecting 5 candidates for 1 post in the Railways.

If 2 employees get equal marks on the last number in the list then both will be allowed to appear in the main examination. For this, the number of candidates relative to the post can be increased to more than five.

Let us tell you that earlier, for promotion from Group C to B, railway employees had to give one exam and on the basis of that they get promotion, but now the employees will have to give two exams.

The first examination will be multiple choice, in which only those employees who will be able to secure 75 percent or more will be given a chance to appear in the main examination. There will be a challenge for the employees, it has also been made mandatory to score 75% marks, which is a wrong decision.
