4 percent increase in DA
The announcement to increase the dearness allowance of the employees in Rajasthan was made by the Chief Minister. The Rajasthan government’s announcement of a 4% increase in dearness allowance for its employees was made by the Chief Minister soon after the 4% increase in the DA of central employees. On March 25, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had announced the increase in dearness allowance by tweeting. At the same time, orders have been issued by the Finance Department to increase the dearness allowance and dearness relief of the employees and pensioners. With this, the dearness allowance has increased from 38 to 42%.

At the same time, pensioners including 8 lakh employees of the state will be given the benefit of DA increase. Under the order issued by the Finance Department, the dearness allowance will be effective from January 1. In such a situation, DA arrears of 3 months from January to March will be deposited in the GPF account of the employees.

According to the order of the department, work charge employees will also get the benefit of increased dearness allowance. Additional expenditure of Rs 1640 crore
