Petrol-Diesel And CNG Price Hike Today: Vehicle fuel prices are skyrocketing in the Indian market. From petrol-diesel to CNG, the prices are increasing rapidly. Petrol-Diesel rates are increasing day by day in the country, as well as inflation on CNG is also attacking. The prices of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) have been increased again in the national capital Delhi.

After increasing the price of CNG gas by Rs 2.50 per kg in the national capital Delhi, it has now been increased to Rs 66.61 per kg. In the last 5 days, CNG has become expensive by Rs 6.60 per kg. While the prices of petrol and diesel have increased by Rs 10 per liter in 16 days. The public is troubled by the continuous increase in the prices of vehicle fuel.

Petrol-Diesel prices increased by 80 paise

Indian oil companies have once again increased the prices of petrol and diesel today (Wednesday) on 6 April. The fuel price of both the vehicles has been increased by 80-80 paise per liter. With this, petrol in the national capital Delhi has reached Rs 105.41 per liter while diesel has reached Rs 96.67 per liter.

Brent crude has reached $109.24 per barrel in the international market. Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said on rising oil prices that in developed countries including America, Canada, the price of petrol has increased by 50 percent in a year. Whereas in India there has been an increase of only five percent.

The hike in oil prices started from March 22, 

last year from November 4, 2021 to March 21, 2022, there was no change in the price of petrol and diesel. After this, the process of increasing the prices of both the fuels started from 22 March 2022. So far, petrol and diesel have become costlier by Rs 10 per liter in 14 installments in 16 days.

Petrol oil companies have gradually

increased the price of petrol-diesel 14 times in 16 days, which has become costlier by Rs 10 per liter. From March 22 to April 6, petrol has become costlier by 80, 80, 80, 80, 50, 30, 80, 80, 80, 80, 80, 40, 80, 80 paise per liter respectively.

With the new increase, the price of petrol and diesel has been increased by Rs 10 per liter in Delhi so far. Please note that the prices of petrol and diesel vary from state to state depending on the local taxes.

Will there be relief from inflation on petrol and diesel?

There is no hope of getting relief from the inflation of petrol and diesel at the moment. According to experts, oil marketing companies will have to increase the price of petrol and diesel by a total of 15 to 20 rupees to compensate for their past losses.
