Coal Employees Salary Increment: More than two lakh employees got a big gift in the new year. In fact, his salary has been increased by 19 percent. Due to which a one-time increase in the salary of the employees will be seen. A decision on this has been taken in the meeting held on Tuesday. In the 11th meeting, it has been agreed to increase the salary of the employees by 19 percent.
Decision to give 19 percent minimum benefit guarantee to the employees
Along with this, about 265000 employees of Coal India will get its benefit. And there will be an increase in the salary of each employee from ₹ 6000 to ₹ 25000 per month. It has been decided to give 19 percent minimum benefit guarantee to the coal workers. In the matter, the management says that whatever has been fixed in the salary agreement, its information will be sent to the ministry.
36000 employees of BCCL benefited
Along with this, 36000 employees of BCCL will be given the benefit of 19 percent minimum guarantee benefit. The basic salary of the employees of total 7 companies including BCCL, CCL, ECL of Coal India will be increased. Due to which more than 36 thousand BCCL officers will also get its benefit.
A big meeting was organized in Kolkata on Tuesday. The eighth meeting of JBCCI 11th started at 11:00 am. In this meeting which lasted till 8:00 pm, 14 per cent NGB was offered by the management while the union’s demand was 26 per cent. In such a situation, an agreement was reached between the union and the management on 19 per cent. It may be mentioned that earlier in the 10th wage settlement, the coal workers had got the benefit of 29 per cent increment. In which apart from 20 percent increase in salary, provision was made to give 5 percent amount for pension while 4 percent as special allowance.
New salary for employees applicable from 1 July 2021
At the same time, the new salary for the employees will be implemented from 1 July 2021. Where under:-
- A1 grade officers will now be given a benefit of ₹71031.
- ₹ 55073 will be made available to A3 grade officers.
- While the basic salary for B3 grade officers is ₹ 56103
- Basic salary for C3 grade employees will be ₹47330
- Basic Salary for D2 Grade Employees ₹43775
- The basic salary for E2 grade employees will be ₹41966.
- Basic salary for F2 grade is ₹ 40925 while
- Basic Salary ₹40925 for G2 Grade and
- The basic salary of H2 grade has been fixed at Rs 40059.
Coal Minister Prahlad Joshi congratulated
Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi has congratulated the management along with the employees on the salary hike of the employees and the coal wage settlement. He said that the central government is committed to labor welfare and big decisions are being taken continuously in their interest.
