The state government has announced an increase of 9 percent in the dearness allowance of the employees in the cabinet meeting. Cabinet’s approval has been given for this. Orders will be issued in this regard soon. On the other hand, the employees of the month of December will get the benefit of increased DA.

Giving big relief to the 6th pay commission employees, the state government has announced an increase in their dearness allowance (DA Hike). In fact, in the cabinet meeting, the dearness allowance of the employees has been increased at the rate of 9 percent. They will also be paid arrears of 4 months.

In fact, in the meeting of the Bihar cabinet, the dearness allowance of the employees of the sixth central pay scale has been increased. Under the decision, 9% dearness allowance will be given to the employees. The state government has given approval to give 212% dearness allowance to government servant pensioners and family pensioners from July 1, 2022 instead of 203%. Same they have to pay their outstanding 4 months arrears in their PF account.

Earlier, the state government had given a big relief to the employee pensioners getting the seventh pay scale. A 4 per cent increase in their dearness allowance was announced, after which their dearness allowance increased to 38 per cent.

However, the increase in dearness allowance was not announced at that time for the employees who get the sixth pay scale. After which, in the cabinet meeting held late in the evening, approval has been given to increase the dearness allowance for the employee pensioners who get the sixth pay scale. Orders will be issued in this regard. Along with this, they will be given the benefit of increased dearness allowance from next month.
