According to the news of Amar Ujala, the Chief Secretary Committee was formed on the recommendations made by the third report of the Pay Committee (2016) – Part Four in Uttar Pradesh in relation to the contract workers of the state departments. On the basis of its recommendations, an order regarding payment has been issued by the Principal Secretary. According to the order, only those employees whose appointment will be done under the selection process by issuing advertisement will get this benefit. No appointment will be made on contract against the post created in the same pay scale.
These allowances will be available including DA / DR
Under this, the contract amount of the personnel appointed on the contract, the minimum amount of pay matrix level fixed for the respective post in the revised pay matrix and the benefit of dearness allowance payable from time to time to the state employees will be given in the salary. Keep in mind that this amount will be given only to full-time employees, but on workers working part-time in various departments including Anganwadi, Ashabahu, cooks, PRD volunteers, home guards, Panchayat Audit Coordinator, MNREGA, Shikshamitra, Kisan Mitra, Seasonal Collection Amin, etc. This will not apply.
Thousands of employees will get benefit
The State Employees Joint Council has expressed gratitude on this decision of the Yogi Government of UP. The Council has thanked the CM for gifting the new pay matrix to the contract workers. With this order, more than 1000 contract workers working in Government Ashram Method Schools of the Social Welfare Department, more than 10,000 workers of various departments including Secretariat, AYUSH Department will be benefitted.
