  • First of all go to the official website https://uidai.gov.in/ in smartphone or computer.
  • Scroll down and click on Get Aadhaar.
  • Now click on Retrieve EID/UID link coming there.
  • Now on the next page select Aadhar Number and Enrollment Number.
  • Now enter the full name that is in the Aadhar card and the mobile number and captcha linked to the Aadhar card.
  • Now you will get OTP, enter it.
  • After this, you will get the Aadhaar number or Enrollment ID on the registered phone number. Now, you can use Aadhaar Number or Enrollment ID to download e-Aadhaar.

How to Download Aadhar Card (How to download e-Aadhaar)

  • First of all go to the homepage of UIDAI website.
  • Click on the link to download Aadhar card on the homepage.
  • Select the Aadhar Number option, if you have Aadhar Number, otherwise select the Enrollment ID and enter it.
  • After that enter the captcha and click on send OTP.
  • Now you will get OTP, enter it and Aadhar card will be downloaded.
  • It is also important to note that the downloaded e-Aadhaar will be password protected. Password is the first four letters of your name in capital letters and the year of birth in YYYY format. For example, if your name is Akshay and you were born in 1981 then your password would be AKSH1981.
