Actually, the whole matter is of Bataniya village of Lalganj police station area of Basti. When the Income Tax Department notice reached the house of Shivprasad Nishad, there was a stir. Shivprasad does stone grinding work in Delhi. The family was shocked when a notice from the Income Tax Department reached the house of a labourer. Because the notice shows a transaction of Rs 221 crore from Shivprasad’s bank account. Besides, he has been ordered to appear with all the documents by 20th October.
PAN card was lost in 2019
Now Shivprasad cannot understand how so much money came into his account. He has left work and returned to UP from Delhi. Shivprasad has expressed apprehension that his PAN card was lost in 2019. With his help, someone fraudulently opened a bank account in his name and created this scandal.
In this regard, he went to Lalganj police station and informed the police about the matter. After taking out the details of the account, we have also complained about the matter to senior officers. Shivprasad is also trying to reach the Income Tax Department and meet the Income Tax Officer.
2 billion 21 crore 30 lakh rupees deposited in the account
Shivprasad said that I am a labourer. I earn money by doing stone grinding work. I don’t know who has transacted so much money. Perhaps someone has misused my PAN card. The account in which Rs 2 billion 21 crore 30 lakh has been deposited is mine only. How and when this much transaction took place is not known. No money transactions have been done in the remaining accounts.
In the notice received at home by post, there is mention of cash deposit of Rs 2 billion 21 crore 30 lakh from the bank account. It is also mentioned that TDS of Rs 4 lakh 58 thousand 715 will be deducted. At present, both the Income Tax and Police departments have become active regarding transactions worth billions of rupees. Both the departments have started investigation at their respective levels.
In this case, the police officer said that the transactions in the account are being investigated. Further action will be taken on the basis of the investigation report. The bank and Income Tax Department are in touch.
