Actually, budget airline company IndiGo is giving a special discount to customers who have got the corona vaccine. Customers will get this discount on the base fare of the flight ticket. The airline company has started the ‘Vaxy Fare’ scheme. Under this scheme, if someone has got his vaccination done, then he will get a discount of up to 10 percent in the fare on every route.

According to the information given on IndiGo’s website, only those people who have taken at least the first dose of the vaccine will get the benefit of Vaxi Fare. The passengers will have to show the vaccination certificate of Kovid 19 at the time of check-in. Passengers can also show their vaccination status with the help of Aarogya Setu app. The offer will be valid only when the passenger books the ticket on IndiGo’s website.

Travelers are required to carry your COVID-19 vaccination certificate issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Or else vaccination proof will have to be shown on the Aarogya Setu mobile app at the check-in counter / boarding gate of the airport. Failure to do so may result in denial of boarding. Please note that this discount is applicable for travel dates exceeding 15 days from the date of booking.
