iQOO Z11 Turbo Launched: 7,600mAh Battery & Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for ₹35,999

0

iQOO just dropped a bombshell in China, and it’s basically a fever dream for power users. As of January 16, 2026, the iQOO Z11 Turbo is official, and the specs are frankly ridiculous for a mid-range phone.

The thing is, they’ve managed to cram a 7,600mAh battery into a frame that’s only 7.9mm thick.1 Or nothing. Let’s be real, most flagship phones are still hovering around 5,000mAh while this thing is pushing two-day battery life even for heavy gamers.2 Those too. It launched yesterday in China starting at CNY 2,699 (roughly ₹35,999).3

The “Z11 Turbo” Log: Field Notes

It’s an ongoing situation where iQOO is essentially cannibalizing its own flagship sales by giving the “budget” Z-series top-tier internals.

  • The Brains: It runs the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (3nm process).4 The thing is, this is the same silicon architecture you’d expect in phones twice the price. It’s pulling 3.59 million on AnTuTu.5 And here’s the kicker—it’s shipping with Android 16 (OriginOS 6) right out of the box.6

  • The Screen: A 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED with a 144Hz refresh rate.7 The thing is, it hits a local peak brightness of 5,000 nits.8 You could basically use it as a flashlight in the desert at noon.

  • The Camera Pivot: They finally ditched the mediocre sensors for a 200MP main shooter with OIS.9 The thing is, there’s no telephoto lens. It’s a dual-setup with an 8MP ultra-wide. Those too.

  • The Durability: It’s got a dual IP68/IP69 rating.10 The thing is, it’s not just water-resistant; it’s rated for high-pressure hot water jets.

iQOO Z11 Turbo: Pricing & Specs

Variant China Price (CNY) Approx. India Price (INR)
12GB + 256GB ¥2,699 ₹35,999
16GB + 256GB ¥2,999 ₹39,000
16GB + 512GB11 ¥3,49912 ₹45,30013
16GB + 1TB14 ¥3,99915 ₹51,80016

And Here’s the Kicker…

The ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor is usually a “Pro” or “Ultra” exclusive. Putting it on a Z-series phone is a massive flex. The thing is, India might never see this exact model. History shows the “Turbo” Z-phones usually stay in China, but rumors are swirling that this might arrive in India rebranded as the iQOO 15R later this quarter.

It’s an ongoing situation where the Realme 16 Pro+ and OnePlus 15R are suddenly looking a bit underpowered. The thing is, if you’re a gamer, that 100W charging combined with a 7,600mAh battery means you basically never have to look at a wall socket during a tournament.
