Jeep India dealerships have started taking pre-launch bookings for the new Compass Trailhawk model.
The car was officially teased a while back and now it has also been listed online on the company’s website ahead of its launch. Some select dealerships in Delhi have started booking it for Rs 50000.
The official launch of the new Trailhawk-spec Compass is expected in March. The Compass Trailhawk will see many major changes for off-roading.
The Jeep Compass Trailhawk will be launched in the Indian market as an off-road focused SUV, which will include a 4X4 standard drivetrain. The company is going to add some very special design elements to this car.
Among its new design elements, new changes can be seen in the unique bumper, grille, body paint and alloy wheels. Apart from this, it can also get new alloy wheels and off-road driving mode-rock with all-terrain tyres.
The Compass Trailhawk is likely to get features like 10-inch digital driver display, 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Apart from this, powered front seats with cooling function, wireless charger and dual-zone temperature control can also be given.

Jeep India may offer the new Compass Trailhawk with a 2.0-litre diesel engine that comes mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. This engine makes 165 Bhp power and 350 Nm peak torque.
Jeep’s Select Terrain System can be given with the SUV for better off-roading experience. Apart from the Trailhawk, Jeep India is going to launch the Meridian SUV in India very soon, which will be a 7-seater car.
