MoneyCentral has quoted CNBC TV-18 as saying that the price of air fuel has almost doubled in the year 2022. The rate of ATF in Delhi has reached Rs 1.41 lakh per kiloliter, which is a record till now. On June 16, it has been increased by 16.3 percent. Air fuel prices have increased by 91 percent in the last six months.

The prices were reduced after increasing 10 times,

in the year 2022 itself, the prices of air fuel have been increased 10 times in a row. After this, on June 1, its prices were cut marginally by 1.3 percent. Then there was a fall in the prices of crude oil in the global market as well. However, now there is a strong increase in it once again. It is feared that now the fare for air travel may also increase in the coming days.

The biggest increase was in March,

the share of expenditure on ATF in aircraft operations remains 40 percent. This is the reason why the increase in the price of air fuel directly affects the passengers. On March 16 this year, companies had increased the ATF the most. Then the price was increased by 18.3 percent. After this, the prices were increased by 2 percent on 1 April also, while on 16 April there was an increase of 0.2 percent and on 1 May it increased by 3.22 percent.
