Jio Effect: BSNL Offers 1 GB Data Per Day, Unlimited Calls For Rs. 999
Government run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is now offering 1 gigabytes or GB of data usage per day in its latest INR 999 recharge plan on prepaid services. This recently offered prepaid recharge plan launched by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will also be bundled with unlimited calling offer, reported by BSNL on a micro blogging site Twitter. The telecom industry, which has already been facing immense pressure since the launch of Reliance Jio services in India, has certainly forced the incumbent telecom operators like BSNL to broaden the bouquet of offers in their prepaid recharge plans with very attractive data usage and calling offers.

This newly launched offered prepaid recharge plan of BSNL offers unlimited data usage which is limited to 1 GB data per day post which the speed is reduced. After exhausting of 1 GB data per day limit, data speed will be reduced to 40Kbps, informed BSNL, according a report by TelecomTalk. It also offers National voice calls along with free and unlimited national roaming except in regions of Mumbai and Delhi. This new prepaid recharge plan of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), is rightly named as ‘Maximum’, and also offers 100 short message service (SMS) per day. Additionally, this new plan comes with validity of 365 days.
These benefits will be valid between 0 to 181 days post taking the offer and for the next 182 to 365 days, the voice calls tariff will be charged at 60 paise per minute for all the calls.
Voice calls to regions of Mumbai and Delhi will be charged at 60 paise per minute throughout the offer period.

Meanwhile, Jio’s existing prepaid recharge plan of INR 999 is offering 60 GB data at a very high-speed of 4G connectivity post which the data usage internet speed gets reduced to 64Kbps. 100 messages(SMS) per day and also unlimited voice calls are bundled with this existing prepaid recharge plan of Jio. This pack will be valid for 90 days.
