Mathura Train Accident: A major accident took place in Lord Shri Krishna’s city Mathura (Mathura Train Accident) on Tuesday night. According to the information received, a local train (EMU Train) suddenly derailed on the platform at Mathura Junction.

During this time, a stampede broke out on the platform, some people were reported to be slightly injured in the incident. At present, the Railways is investigating the accident.

According to the information, the EMU train was coming from Shakurbasti. When she reached near Mathura Junction, she suddenly climbed onto the platform, causing a stampede there.

During the accident, a child came under the train, although he was later saved. As soon as information about the incident was received, many railway officials reached the spot and took stock of the situation.

Regarding the matter, Railway Station Director S.K. Srivastava said that the EMU train was coming from Shakurbasti. It came to Mathura Junction at 10:49 in the night, but then suddenly it started moving fast again and climbed on top of the platform.

Five-six people were standing near the platform during the accident. However, they saved their lives by running away. How the train reached the platform is being investigated. Some trains on the up line have been affected by this accident.

According to railway officials, many trains including Malwa Superfast, Amritsar-Bandra Terminus have been affected. Some trains have been stopped towards Delhi. Railway officials are taking stock of the situation and efforts are being made to normalize the traffic.
