PAN-Aadhaar Link: If you also invest money in mutual funds or SIP, then there is news of work for you. If you have not yet linked your PAN card with Aadhaar, then do it immediately. If you do not link PAN and Aadhaar before the last date i.e. before 31st March, then you may suffer a big loss.

After this your PAN card will become invalid. Apart from this, it will also have a direct impact on your mutual fund investment. In fact, withdrawing money from your investment and even making new investments can be blocked. Actually, it is necessary to have a PAN card for investing in mutual funds etc.

will not be able to invest

If you are investing in mutual funds for the first time or planning to invest in any other scheme for the first time, then you must have a valid PAN card. If you are a mutual fund investor but your PAN is invalid, then you will not be able to add additional units to your existing mutual fund investment. That’s why it is very important for you to link PAN-Aadhaar.

PAN card is mandatory

To invest in Mutual Funds, you must have some documents (Documentation Process). First you need to follow your ‘Know Your Customer’ (KYC) norms and then you should have a valid PAN. In such a situation, if your PAN becomes invalid due to non-linking of Aadhaar, then you will not be able to invest in mutual funds.

SIP will also stop

It is worth noting that if you do not link PAN-Aadhaar, then your PAN will become invalid and if PAN becomes invalid, then the investment made through Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) will also stop. That is, you will not be able to add new units to your mutual fund scheme.

Not only this, if you have invested in any mutual fund scheme, then you will not be able to withdraw the PAN if it is invalid. That is, your redemption requests will be rejected.

At the same time, the Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP) will also stop. Therefore, before the last date i.e. 31st March, link PAN and Aadhaar in any case.
