OnePlus continues to run on the latest Windows 11, a two-year-old smartphone

Microsoft has unveiled the latest operating system Windows 11 for personal computers. The first preview of Windows 11 is currently available to Windows Insiders. The Windows 11 operating system is made available in two builds which are X64 and ARM64 respectively. The ARM64 build of Windows 11 has been made available for Qualcomm processors. But, the developers have made some changes in it to prepare this operating system for such devices that do not support Windows 11. The developers have shared a video explaining how the OnePlus 6T is running Windows 11.

It is seen in this video that Windows 11 is being booted in the OnePlus 6T smartphone which already had Windows 10 installed. This report states that Windows 11 can run on a smartphone running Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. However, the report also states that after installing Windows 11, you will not be able to use the core functionalities of the smartphone such as Bluetooth, speaker and wifi. However, the touch screen will continue to do so. Along with this, USB accessories support will also be available.

Remind that users can use Android apps in Windows 11. Microsoft has partnered with Amazon for this. With this help, Windows 11 users will be able to access Android App from Amazon App Store. This is the first time Microsoft has supported Android apps for personal computers for the first time. This feature of Microsoft is very interesting that users will be able to use Android apps in their personal computers without Google Play Store.
