The third phase of lockdown by the central government has started from today. In such a situation, the government has given exemption to e-commerce companies in Orange zone and Green zone, so that they can again deliver non-essential goods to customers. However, in the red zone, these companies will only deliver essential goods. According to the guidelines, e-commerce portals in Orange and Green Zones can now start selling non-essential goods (non-essential goods).


For information, let us tell that till now e-commerce companies were allowed to sell only essential goods, but after the rebate in the third phase, non-essential items like laptop mobile, AC and refrigerator can be delivered in Orange and Grease zones.

Let us know that the third phase of the lockdown will start from May 4 to May 17. In this announcement, in view of the case of infection, the central government has divided the areas into different zones. In such a situation, the customers living on the orange and green zones will surely get relief after the new guidelines. In such a situation, it is now expected that after discounts in these areas, it will be easier to buy items like stationery, air conditional, fridge etc. It has been said in the guidelines that in all areas, operations related to sales from 7 am to 7 pm have been approved.



There is no permission in the red zone
All major cities including Delhi and Mumbai have been included in the Red Zone. Therefore, the benefit of this discount will not be available in such cities. An Amazon India spokesperson said, “We welcome the government’s decision to allow e-commerce in the Orange and Green regions.” Millions of small and medium businesses and traders will now be able to resume business. The spokesperson said that the company would follow the new guidelines regarding ‘Red Zone Zones’.
